    I always thought this Philips Hue stuff was a major wank.

    But hey, about a year ago I bought one of the lights for a "give it a try...mate".

    What a shocker.  I know have 40 various Hue lights around and in my house !!  Brilliant stuff just brilliant !

    The best ones are the 10 garden lights that go up my driveway.

    Hey, does anyone know how I can I make them turn on one after the other as I motor up the driveway?   Or even change colour as I drive up the drive way.?

    Like the internal space ship lights in one of those sci-fi movies.

    It's called the "Doctrine of Latches", pronounced la-chease from the French. It's about a delay in bringing an action to the court that affects the fairness of the claim by Apple.  But it only helps to defend against any "equitable" remedy sought by Apple not a legal contactual claim such as damages for breach of contract.

    But what friggin delay is there between something allegedly done on 1 November 2019 and a claim filed in March 2021, 16 months later?  From what idiot law school did this guy's counsel get his qualifications?  Back of the cornflakes packet?

    There is a criminal offense called "Larceny by Finding".  It is a common law offense with significant depending on how heinous the conduct of the finder and how much you upset the judge hearing the matter.  Marlinspike would have to  prove he took reasonable steps to locate the owner of the property, which he unfortunately admits he did not in his blog.
