Apple renews effort to induce authors to publish with Apple Books
Vellum is the most over-hyped style-over-substance app I've ever seen in the publishing industry. And at $200? Laughable. It's truly been created for the Apple fan.
Scrivener for Mac or Windows absolutely annihilates it. Scrivener does everything Vellum can do as well as being a full WP. And it costs a fraction of Vellum. -
Apple TV+ review: 'See' is no 'Game of Thrones'
This sounded utterly lame from the moment Jason Momoa appeared on stage back in the Spring at that Apple Event and asked everyone to close their eyes. Apple will quickly learn that throwing millions of dollars at rubbish will still still give you rubbish. To be honest, I haven't seen a single trailer for anything on AppleTV+ that's made me think Oh, wow. I have to see that.
HBO's Watchmen is currently the most compelling thing on TV, in my opinion. -
Struggling iPhone sales & muted Services predicted for Apple's earnings
The golden years are over for Apple, IMO. I'm sure they'll still make billions in the future but their services like Apple TV+ don't look very enticing at all. Too much competition from others. These days, they just don't have great new products coming out every year that wow the public. That's more down to technology stagnating with 'the next big thing' probably still years away. -
How the Apple Card will assist in managing your finances
Soli said:fumi said:That's why Credit Cards exist. That's the only reason they exist. To make money.
Clearly, the post is not aimed at you but there are a million stupid people out there thinking "Hey, Apple are so caring. They want to help me with my finances." LOL. Yeah, that's why they introduced a credit card. To make your life better. Lots of people fall for the hype.
