I grew up in Wisconsin and my first bike was a Christmas gift. Started out riding it around the pool table downstairs. Moved on to riding it on the frozen lake. So it can be done but I wouldn't do the same now that I'm older. It was a fun riding it on ice. Obviously you had to be very careful starting, stopping, and turning. Yeah, bike riding outdoors is a warmer weather activity for the most part.

Without a doubt you can ride a bike in colder weather but the type of thing you are talking about isn't the same type of cycling a person would do for a workout. I lived in midwest for years and going out for a road ride just wouldn't be an option through most of the winter.

Since it is going to up the price a bit, may as well go all out and put a top end system chip in it to make it a gaming machine. That would be cool but it is a chicken and egg situation. People will diss it as a gaming failure because there aren't a boatload of games available on release and game makers will put off development of games for it because there isn't a large installed base. Hmmmm..... A medium priced sounder with camera, small or no screen (use the TV) and an output for wired and Airplay subwoofer. Apple has the sound engineers on staff and a good starting point with the original HomePod (which I am admitted fanboy who uses them all the time when using my AppleTV). All that said, I'm maxed out for sound systems and hardly ever upgrade as what I have suits my wants quite well.

That is really amazing. While I'm sticking with MacOS, the nerd in me loves the fact that running Linux on an M1 is possible.
