That begs the question... If the next generation iPhone is as fast as the current iPad Peo, how fast will the next generation iPad Pro be?

I had been watching NeXT since the NeXT Cube was released. NeXT had great products but couldn't gain market share. It was a struggle. In the mid or late 1990s I bought an OpenStep computer for my use. It was dual boot OpenStep and Windows as I needed programs available on Windows but it was OpenStep that I thought was the cat's meow. Audio recordings in email! Wow! It was elegant and useful but didn't have many apps. I still have that computer. I haven't fired it up in a long time and would like to for fun but I need an old keyboard and mouse to do so.

Apple's buying NeXT was mutually beneficial. Apple needed something and NeXT needed to grow or it too would go away. Sometimes the combination of two entities near the end of their ropes leads to spectacular results. Plus the amazing talent of the remaining crew was awesome.

Am I missing something here? All phones can charge via usb. The only difference between them is the cord from the usb charger to the device which gets replaced fairly often because of fraying.

I have to do this everyday I wake the appleTV and it is so annoying. Siri also needs a huge overhaul. Siri on HomePod can’t even turn on all the lights in my house but I have no problem talking to my phone, Apple TV remote or using the control center to manually turn them on. HomePod always tells me my living room light isn’t connected or isn’t part of the “home” 

I had a problem with Siri 'forgetting' that some devices were part of my home network but then I noticed they were also 'wonky' on my phone so I removed them and then re-found them and it has all worked pretty reliably since. It was a pain to disconnect and reconnect the items but it worked out for the better overall and I haven't had problems in months now. I do agree with you that Siri needs work. Maybe it is there with Shortcuts but I'm a bit dense on that it seems.
