COVID-19 disaster shows off Apple's true core
I sent an email yesterday to Tim Cook suggesting that Apple inform its Mac customers that folding@home a distributed computing platform is now working to analyze the Covid-19 and that there is a Mac client that can be used. Currently folding@home is 7x faster than the fastest supercomputer. It is currently at the level of exaFLOPS. I also suggest that he contact the President so that the President could mention this software in his daily virus update. With that kind of publicity who knows what kind of FLOPS could be achieved. -
