  • Kuo reiterates 120 mm tetraprism camera coming to iPhone 16 Pro

A photographer would tell you to not to be so lazy and move position instead.
Which isn’t always an option both in terms of where you may be able to walk and for timing and also gives different perspective in photos - so while I’ve also seen “photographers” who say to use your feet, it’s not entirely equivalent.

Having seen those sawtooth charts of resolution vs zoom between the 0.5x, 1x and 5x, if you really want the quality and a variable zoom, you still may be looking at a real camera since that’s not Apple’s approach to the zoom.  (And a DSLR/mirrorless is better for a number of reasons  - real depth of field. low light performance, swappable lenses with better optics, ergonomics… Just not convenience.)

  • Swedish luxury firm adds 7,586 diamonds to Apple devices for some reason

It's not Scandinavian design, that's for sure. But we (swede) do have lots of immigrants and the name of the CEO speaks for this being aimed at oligarchs of other regions. It's this or an English football club for Christmas....
Yeah, I don't picture Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Elon, etc. being the target billionaire audience.

The same diamonds that you can sell back to a jeweler for 1/3 of what you just paid - and that are now being manufactured? I'm thinking that value certainly could decrease.  But it's OK, this is clearly paying for tasteless bling and not the cost of the diamonds anyway. 😂

  • Apple TV+'s 'Reluctant Traveler' Eugene Levy gets a second season

Each episode is basically the same.  Some opulent resort that no one can afford and most of the show talks about how Eugene Levy has some sort of phobia about something or another and how he normally never leaves the resort.  More of a "Watch Eugene Levy do things he's never done before" show than a travel show.

Mildly entertaining if you want to watch something that doesn't require a lot of thought.
He does do some interesting things in Japan.  I like him and I like the destinations..  But you are basically right and the "I don't normally do this.  This is out of comfort zone" schtick gets old pretty quickly.
Sadly I was tired of it about 20 minutes into Finland, and it just kept going - very forced jokes and non-stop comfort zone comments. Sleds! Ice fishing! OMG, I don't do things like this!  I haven't tried any more episodes after needing 2 evenings to force myself to finish the first.  I like travel & food shows in general, this just felt over-produced and over-scripted.

  • Don't buy the 'Make Something Wonderful' Steve Jobs book on eBay, because the book is free...

Please do a little research before writing things like this. Physical copies were absolutely given to employees, they just won’t be sold to the public like indicated above.
No doubt.  “There is no limited edition. There is no hardback printed edition at all.”  That won’t age well.
