  • AirTag leads to confrontation & stolen e-bike return in California

The police: Let us handle this, it could be dangerous for you to get involved.

Also the police:  We don’t handle stolen property cases.

Is taxation still theft if they're offering free malware with it?

Texans love their trucks, but a truck isn’t worth throwing your life away for.  That goes for both the thief and the owner.  Better to give the police the location and let them deal with it.  Goes without saying, I suppose.
Yeah, the meek shall inherit the Earth, right? Be a scared little vole and hand over your keys, your wallet, your daughter if demanded, right? There's a reason some states have Castle Doctrines, Stand Your Ground Laws, and Concealed Carry Laws. "Oh please, Mr. Thug, don't hurt me"

As for the police? Gimme a break. They have bigger fish to fry than a stolen truck.
No doubt. The police will be there for you after you're a victim.  If you care about the safety of your family and yourself, exercise your 2A rights and don't depend on "first responders" - they're responding to a crime that's already happened.
I have never owned a gun
i never will own a gun
i do not allow guns in my house
nothing good ever resulted from a gun.
"Nothing good ever resulted from a gun."

Considering people have used them to put food on the table, defend themselves from robberies, assaults, and attempted rapes, and to resist oppression, that's obviously debatable.

As to the rest, not a problem, though someone with actual criminal intent wouldn't really care if you declare your home gun-free. In the end. you don't have to take advantage of your rights though, just don't try to take mine and we're cool.

  • Apple launches Apple Music Classical app

This is great news, I am certain to use it.

However spatial audio isn’t a sell at all for me. Not only does it make most songs worse, but it’s even worse for classical music. Lately I have found myself disabling it entirely because of the way classical or even electronic music sound with it. It’s a completely overrated feature that should only be enabled for songs that were recorded in 3D audio.
I'm not sold on Atmos for spatial music in general. 5.1 SACD / DVD-Audio / Blu-Ray are much better for classical and full surround mixes for remastered rock albums are better sounding as well from ones I've compared.

That said, I'll certainly be using the Classical app! :)
