Excuse me, General Motors, we really think it's only fair that you be forced to take up space on your dealership lots, hire salesmen, provide record-keeping, pre-sale maintenance, offer financing, and millions of dollars per year in marketing, for FORD cars and trucks... AT NO COST TO FORD.

I hope Epic gets epically bitch-slapped in court. And I hope Apple yanks them from the ecosystem completely. Apple's devices, Apple's rules. Don't like it, develop for Android exclusively and see how that works out for you financially.

I agree with Svanstrom. In fact, I'll go a step further. I wouldn't use a Mac my own mother sold me without a complete erase & reinstall of the OS.

It sounds great, until you consider that when a police officer asks to see your license, you'll be handing your unlocked iPhone to him - giving him complete and total access to EVERYTHING on your phone.

Unless Apple can offer a way to display the license via the secure enclave where the phone itself is still locked, I don't see this ever happening in the U.S.

The silly sh!t people spend money on is astonishing.
