Yes - would be nice for the review to cover this.  My backpack was stolen a while back -- would like to put an anti-theft tracker in it without alerting thieves.

Going the amazon way or keeping their own network will only result in their painful death. 

Their existing network is not large enough, but with Amazon/Alexa/Ring that should help.  Do you think the network still won't be large enough, or are there other reasons why you think it won't work?    I'm primarily interested in anti-theft use cases which the anti-stalking precautions do not allow.

What does Chipolo have over an AirTag (tldr, you know...)

Three things:
- They have a keyring loop so no need for a fob
- They may well be cheaper
- They may not have the anti-stalking feature. This could be a good thing if you are using it as (say) a bike anti-theft device and you don’t want the thief to get a ping!

As you point out, the anti-stalking function also prevents anti-theft function.  Would be great if chipolo allows anti-theft.  Is this a function of the tag, or of the Find My network?

Would love to see them go after the high end -- on the hardware side, the soundbar with exceptional spatial sound, on the gaming side, the latest Apple Silicon and combine this with an investment in 2-3 "must have" games.  Think about the huge budget they used on TV+ original content and not worrying about an immediate payout.  Some high end cinematic quality games would draw people to the platform.

hope they look at medical supplies also
