I don't think the iPhone is going to nor can change much design wise. The coming design tweaks will all be technology related.

It's such a silly notion that there's just one best person for a job. The issue is that it's never really known who the best person is. Qualifications on a piece of paper means nothing. Did anyone think Tom Brady would become probably the best QB of all time, or that Dak Prescott would play at such a high level right out of college? I have a feeling apple will start to be comfortable with backdoors in their software after China forces it on them. The Chinese just passed legislation forcing tech companies to assist in investigations. The time is coming people....just a matter of when. If you think western govts. are going to sit back and let Silicon Valley call the shots in the face of increasing threats, you're mistaken. Without govt having access to data from cellphones you risk them enacting draconian measures like banning all Muslim immigration, etc.
