  • Tim Cook's fundraiser for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton set for tonight

I plan to vote for Hillary, so my next comment is not bashing her: it's curious that someone as wealthy as Cook supports Hillary when she is very open about plans to increase taxes on the rich. I guess Cook's motivation is driven by looking at the alternative to Hillary... and deciding that scenario would be much worse (not necessarily in terms of tax policy).
There are plenty of extremely wealthy democrats. The vast majority of wealth in this country is in blue states.

Progressive ideas moved us out of the dark ages into the Age of Enlightenment. Not all NYT's writers have a Left perspective, you may not recognize the articles because they are not printed in ALL CAPS!. The dark ages came about when the church decided to burn books with idea's they did not agree with of fit the church's dogma. Masterpieces from ancient Greece and Rome were pagan and the science in those books counter the fantasies of Catholicism. I know 2 writers for the NYT and they are both highly educated people that do their best to research the stories before submitting them. Nobody should be silences because you disagree with them, but when extreme forces gain power that is the first thing they do, burn books and put away vocal critics. That is not what a democracy does.
well said. for all his pomp, if men with opinions like Apple ][ were in power the country would be a darker place, where knowledge and freedom were stamped out under self-righteous dogma.
I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't part of the whole Eugenics movement.

Throw anything at the wall and see what sticks.
Charles Darwin wrote a book about the effectiveness of throwing stuff at a wall and seeing what sticks.  He concluded it works rather well.
I wonder how many people actually know where that saying comes from? It's supposed to be 'spaghetti thrown at a wall'  because when it's properly cooked it'll stick but not before.

  • Latest Apple diversity report claims US pay equity, modest changes in gender & race

And the science of that time found that blacks were inferior to whites.
And now you’re just shitposting. Science is a matter of objectivity.
How about eugenics, is that science based on objectivity?

And there you go; it’s a matter of preference/belief/subjectivity. Objectivity requires science.
