eSIM is actively user hostile.

Back in the day, when my phone battery died, I'd swap to a backup battery I had charging on an external charger.  The iPhone broke that.

So I had to have a spare iPhone charged and ready, and instead of swapping batteries I'd swap phones.  More annoying, but it worked.

But with eSIM, I can't do that, because doing that requires moving the SIM from one phone to another.  With a physical SIM, it just takes a paperclip and a few seconds.  But with eSIM, it's a huge pain in the ass.

While we may see a few truly antisocial nerd types wearing these around in public, this is never going to be a phone, watch, or even tablet.  Most people who get these will use them only at home where they can hide their shame from the world.  This is not a sparkly thing that celebrities are going to be showing off unless they're being paid a lot to do it.

Apple should look at Mastodon or Spoutible instead of that horrible company.

There is no Apple car.  There isn't going to be an Apple car.

It would take at least a decade of serious work for Apple to get to the point where they could even think about releasing a car.  They aren't doing that work, they haven't even started doing that work.  They're playing around with car audio, which may or may not ever be part of a product for somebody else's car.  But they're not making a car.

Headline should read "Apple Planning On Price Gouging Even More".

iPhones are too expensive.  They always have been, $500 was too much for the original iPhone, and it's more than a new phone should cost today.  Even used prices are ridiculous now.

And I really wish Apple didn't tie price to screen size like they do.  There are plenty of idiots people who would happily pay big bucks for a small screen with all the fancy features, and sane people who just want a big screen and have no need for more than a rudimentary camera and don't want Face ID or the stupid notch that comes with it.
