Absolutely brilliant.If I decide to abandon the iPhone (which I WILL do if Apple doesn't back down on the spyware) this phone is pretty tempting.I'd want to wipe it and put a more security-focused Android distro on it, of course. But the headphone jack really is a big deal for me, not having one is a near-daily annoyance. -

We need products to be serviceable by us is what I heard everyone was screaming and when a manufacturer make them such then some site concerns.I say, for concerned consumers, apple should drill a hole and put a fugly Philips screw at the back or just super glue it for them. Those people don’t deserve easy replaceable parts.A Philips screw seems like a very reasonable solution. Who cares if it's "fugly" if it makes the product safer (and in the process makes it less likely that the battery will fall out)?
