Titanium and ceramic Apple Watch variants spotted in watchOS 6 beta
kenaustus said:I'm still waiting for Apple to do something with liquid metal and it seems that the Watch would be an interesting use. IIRC, LM was supposed to be easy to fabricate so it would seem that the important factors would be cost and durability. This assumes that Apple has not given up on Liquid Metal. -
Craig Federighi says iPadOS created because iPad is now a 'truly distinct experience'
I’m spending more time on my iPad Pro 12.9”, in part due to my travel schedule, and also because it’s so easy to work on from anywhere. That’s good for work, but bad for my personal and family time, as I’m often grabbing the iPP to respond to an email or send a spreadsheet at 10pm or worse, 2am when I wake up and look at who’s emailed me.
I can’t wait for the improvements to the OS that should solve many of the issues that make working on the iPad a bit clunky. When I’m in my office, I’ll generally use both my iMac and iPP simultaneously, with my iPad running apps that work better than their web-based versions and the iMac manages email and safari work. -

You know the republicans made this deal knowing full well that they would blame democrats for the eventual failure. What’s so bad is that there are a bunch of people that who thought there was actually going to be 13,000 jobs paying $150k annually. Why are so many people willing to believe con men selling snake oil?

Your Mac could wirelessly power keyboards and mice at a distance in the future
It's funny, I just had to replace the batteries in my iMac's trackpad yesterday. For whatever reason, it's been burning through AA batteries and I thought that it would be great to have a more seamless process for keeping it charged. For the small amount of charge needed to run a keyboard and trackpad or mouse, the wireless charge may actually be enough to keep the devices running with just a very small battery to make startup happen faster.
