Looks like it has a 1970s interface, but for $150, works with HomeKit and if it doesn't send my every move to the Google mothership, I'd consider it strongly.

Its time has passed. Manufacturing of smaller contacts obsolesced it years ago. No self-respecting engineer could tolerate hanging on to it much longer.

Looking forward to your next mega-editorial! btw: the first iPod data cable I remember was Firewire 400, which they abandoned in favor of USB when they made iTunes Windows compatible.
