Everyone is enamoured with the “content business”, even though it makes relatively low profit. Netflix’s profit is in the low hundreds of millions, even though it takes in about 10B in revenue. Apple makes more profit in a few days than Netflix does in a year.  Sure, services are a growing part of Apple’s total revenue pie, but that is spread across multiple streams.  Not worth paying 200+ x earnings. 

Growing organically, with small acquisitions, is the best content strategy for Apple.

A troll account with 57 posts?  AI mods must be slipping.  As StrangeDays notes, it is clear you do not have the product, and based upon your comments, (lack of customization, incorrect knowledge of IOS UI functionality, etc) it is doubtful that you own any Apple iOS products.

Why is better battery life a given?  The thing you charge - the case - already lasts a week.  Although AirPods are the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn, I can't imagine wearing/using them for more than 2-3 hours at a time.  And they last that long already.  And then you just stick them into their case while you go eat lunch or to the toilet ;-)

I have had mine for a year now, so certainly well aware of the use cases.  I use them across all my Apple devices on most days.  I think some incremental battery life would be beneficial, especially for calls. While playback might be close to 5 hours, when I am on back-to-back conference calls they are often run completely dry in less than 2 hours.  I know - you only need to have 1 - and I do that - but much prefer the stereo sound with both.

Not a biggie, but more in that area would be useful.

Any speculation as to what updated AirPods would have?  Better battery life would seem to be one.  Perhaps some sound cancelling functionality.  BT5 support.

As I have said many times, a few additional colours would help drive demand.
