Disaffected Apple Upgrade Program customers can now call support for iPhone 7 order help
bmc-atx said:The problem is that people currently in the Upgrade program received worse access and inferior to new iPhones compared to people who weren't in the Upgrade program. This isn't whining about not receiving preferential treatment.
I am not currently in the Upgrade program but purchased my new iPhone last Friday morning through the Upgrade program. After reading about this mess, I have decided to cancel that order and go to one of the retailers selling new iPhones. I don't want any part of the Upgrade program so long as Upgrade customers receive inferior acces to new iPhones at product launch. -
Disaffected Apple Upgrade Program customers can now call support for iPhone 7 order help

So now, I called as this article suggested, gave the automated attendant the reason why I called, and received the message "due to high call volume, we cannot take your call" and was disconnected.
The "high quality" Apple experience continues, lol.
Why should upgrade program participants get a better chance of getting a launch day phone then the rest of us that are paying $900 upfront?
You need to stand in line just like the rest of us.
This is the first time ever that I have not been able to order a phone on the first day. I have had every version of the iPhone since day one, so it is a bit frustrating to be treated this way.

Video: See Apple Maps in iOS 10 in action, with recommended stops along route & saved parked car lo

Complete silence and inaction from AppleInsider despite several complaints about the video posted here. I wonder if this is one of those situations where they think that they are a "good driver" and would never get into an accident? Or maybe they think that a "video can not kill people". Either way, this entire article and the lack of a prompt response to the complaints here and elsewhere is enough to push me to never visit AppleInsider again. I expect much better from one of my favourite online publications, but maybe that's the problem. -

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? This video shows using this app while driving?!? That's worse than texting and an absolute disgrace that Appleinsider would even post it. In 2014, 3,179 people were killed, and 431,000 were injured in motor vehicle crashes involving distracted drivers. Now they are illustrating distracted driving for us with not a care of other drivers safety. Why in the name of God would this website promote it?
