Apple product launches face months of delays over supply chain backlog

Buffett buys and sells Apple constantly. Every buy is later sold at a profit. You don't look at it overall, you look at each buy/sell individually.
Exactly this Metriacantthosaurus! I LOVE to pay capital gains tax, seriously! It means I have made substantial profits, and locked those profits in! I used to do what you do SpamSandwich, buy and hold but in times like these you loose a lot of your 'on paper' profit. Crazy! By selling at $300 I have already locked in enough 'extra profit' (at current levels) to pay my capital gains bill and have plenty over! Look at it this way, the longer you hold, the more profit you make (which is great!) but you will have to pay the CGT when you eventually sell, and that will push you into the highest tax tier, if you invested enough as you should have. I will buy back in again when the market settles and have banked a large profit, taxes paid, then ride it up again.

No, Apple's new Mac Pro isn't overpriced
Why would a pro do that? As a consumer I would easily consider that. But not a pro working for an agency. I am a pro and i pay for all my own hardware. You are totally wrong to assume I would not install my own RAM to save money! Just because I'm a freelancer doesn't mean i will throw money away for the hell of it! You have obviously NEVER run your own business. -
