I believe your configuration and experience would benefit from:
(1) a 20000mAh battery that the AVP battery plugs into, to provide all-day (8-10 hours) untethered power. A 20000mAh battery is allowed by TSA.
(2) a 4k 60Hz HDMI "dummy plug", so you don't need a monitor attached to your laptop.
Aside: I have moderate hearing loss that hearing aids work well to alleviate. The Audio Pods work well while wearing hearing aids, but Audio Pods can annoy people nearby and aren't suitable for air travel. With iPhone and iPad, Headphone Accommodations allow me to use AirPods Pro tailored to my hearing loss, but the AVP doesn't support Headphone Accommodations and with the default audio, speech is largely unintelligible to me.
