The biggest fail of all with the 2023 Mac Pro is it doesn’t have enough PCIE lanes to support all of its slots. Add one 16x card and you’ll be fine, but add a second and they each get only 8x. This is super sleezy in my opinion.

At this rate, by this time next year, Musk will be masturbating in public.

Too bad a show that so thoroughly breaks stereotypes gets cancelled while shows like Succession--loaded with uninspired f-bombs--are so popular and get renewed.  (Yes, I know Succession isn't Apple TV+ and has finally ended.)

In my workaday world, where CPU and memory rule, the 28-core 2019 Mac Pro is a hair faster running x64 code compared to the M2 Ultra running arm64 code, and there are jobs I simply can't run on the M2 Ultra due to (vastly) insufficient memory. A 3-year old 64-core Threadripper is more than 3x faster than the M2 Ultra and even supports more memory (256 GB RAM).

N.B. Apple has silently updated the 13" M2 MacBook Air to Bluetooth 5.3. When first introduced with the M2 processor, the Air supported Bluetooth 5.0.
