Three days with Apple's new Mac Pro: incredible speed that will accelerate with time

No, Apple's new Mac Pro isn't overpriced
If you're happy with 768GB or less RAM, it can be found elsewhere for much less than what Apple is charging. For more than 768GB, I don't find many sources. Amazon lists Apple-branded memory for the new Mac Pro at ridiculous prices (but out of stock).
As for an 8TB SSD, sadly (for me) that option is still coming. -

AirPods Pro review: you don't need to be an AirPods power-user to appreciate them
Audio quality is vastly better than regular AirPods but no better than PowerBeats Pro. AirPods Pro don't fall out of my ears, which is great, and they are easier to put on than PowerBeats Pro. Transparency mode is nice. I did not have any difficulty using the force sensors... except when I accidentally had the left-right pieces reversed (duh).
My complaints:
o difficult to extract the phones from their case (but the case is much more practical than the one for PowerBeats Pro)
o noise cancellation is not very strong... far less than obtained with Sony, Bose, Beats and Parrot over-the-ear ANC headphones.
o on an airline flight while sitting near the cockpit (i.e., the least noisy location in cabin), noise cancellation provided very little relief from the plane noise and my ear canals were sore after just a couple hours.
o very often when removing the phones, the silicone tips inverted, and they have to be flipped back into position to fit in the case.
o my ears never passed the seal test unless I pushed the phones in. (Yes, I tried rotating for a better seal, too.)
o the ear tips are proprietary and seem delicat
o shorter battery life than PowerBeats Pro (9 hours)
In the end, AirPods Pro bring new issues without much, if any, improvement over my other devices, so I returned them. I will continue to use Sony WH1000XM3 headphones when flying and PowerBeats Pro most everywhere else.

Breaking down Apple's AirPods Pro: 8 features that set them apart
From personal experience, AirPods Pro sound quality is similar to PowerBeats Pro--in other words satisfactory and much better than classical AirPods (which I consider awful). Classical AirPods fall out of my ears too easily, especially when talking or eating. I don't believe that will be a problem with the Pros.
On the other hand, I own several pairs of over-the-ear noise cancelling headphones (Bose, Parrot, Beats, Sony) and... the AirPods Pro noise cancellation is simply wimpy while often introducing an uncomfortable/annoying audio effect that the others do not. Transparency mode is also too subtle IMHO.
I'll probably return the AirPods Pro and stick to using PowerBeats Pro for my routine listening. The noise cancellation adds almost nothing to the listening experience and has the frequent drawback of the uncomfortable feeling.
