Wow, what a horrible proposal. Bills which would strengthen data privacy would be a much better use of the government’s regulatory power rather than punishing a company that puts useful productivity apps onto its devices instead of adware and shovelware.

I wouldn’t put any stock into what this guy at Goldman Sachs says. He has been consistently wrong for years now concerning Apple’s financial situation. How does he keep his job?

It’s amazing that Apple still provides 8 year old devices with security updates! Android users are lucky to get 1, maybe 2 years of sporadic updates, and that is only guaranteed for flagship devices, not commodity devices, which are 90+% of all Android devices sold.

I hope that Diller-do never tries to get into the food marketing business. If he tries to sell his food products in a grocery store, he’ll have to pay 50% or more commission to the host establishment. Then again, that hypocrite would be used to “exorbitant” fee schemes. And comparing credit card companies and their charges to the fee developers pay to the Apple App Store is like comparing shoelaces to peanut butter.
