  • Apple Silicon M1 Macs do not support eGPUs

Hmm, I guess this isn’t a surprise, but it is interesting all the Macs that don’t support discrete GPUs were the ones updated today, implying in the future they will either introduce a chip with a much better GPU or otherwise are still trying to work with AMD to maintain their graphics options in later models.
No one is buying a Mac mini, iPad Air, or 13" MacBook Pro for the GPU power.  These are entry level machines for the average person.

Much ado about nothing as always.

Does anyone know just how the court makes in "fees" to try a case?
I’d be happy to answer this question as soon as it is translated into English.

  • Apple TV+, now one year old, looks poised for growth

The premise of this article is that AppleTV+ is “on an upswing,” but the only evidence it offers in support is the fact that it has shows “in the pipeline,” even going so far as to admit there are no “official” ratings to measure it’s success.

There isn't anything unusual here - that's the same licensing terms as on CDs, DVDs, Computer Games, pretty much every digital media…

*still handy to remind people - there will be newbs here.
Not quite the same.  I have stacks of DVD's and Blu-Ray's that have been on my shelves for 10 years.  They aren't going anywhere and will always be available to play.
A movie purchased at Apple that the studio has decided it did not want to sell through Apple anymore would be gone the next time I wanted to play it.  POOF!  Sure, download it.  Right.  No one does that except maybe to an iPad or iPhone then what good is it?  Get a new phone or iPad and the download is gone.

It’s exactly the same. You own the DVD, not the movie itself.

A silicon atom is only about 0.21 nm, so a 5nm process might be the limit for a while!
Based on what?  The fact that the two numbers seem close together?

3nm chips have already been produced, and TSMC, Intel, and Samsung have plants at various stages of construction.  There are also plans for 2 nm production within a few years.
