I at least have been very unlucky when it comes to my Apple music subscription. It's been almost three years now and not a single song I really liked that was recommended by Apple to me or anything that appear in their charts. Funnily enough their recommendations were total crap, something that I can't even think about listening to. I thought their recommendation is based on our own music library or music that we give the "love" rating when playing through Apple Music. But that's not the case. To put it bluntly, it feels like Apple has been showing prejudice behaviour, like there are no artists live outside of USA. And I totally get that why. It's a natural behaviour to promote something that benefit them! regardless. But I never expected this behaviour from Apple at least but Apple failed to prove it. Their priorities have been shifted a lot, especially, after Steve. And I might be wrong but that's how I feel.

The only reason I am still on their subscription so my kids can play something through Siri to their HomePod, and it's convenient for them. Otherwise, I only utilise their service if any of my favourite artists release any new music so I could listen to it immediately and not to wait until it is released on physical media. But the moment they will let us use Siri through our own local library, I will probably cancel my membership, as I would like to listen to my music through my own lossless library.

Again, my actual reason to subscribe Apple music was to find/explore new music based on MY music taste not what runs on various US charts. But unfortunately that's not the case.
