After a year, the iMac Pro benefits from better performance, proving its value
I have been throwing very heavy load on my 5K iMac Pro and it never disappoints me. Yes, I am very satisfied with my purchase. I also bought 2018 Mac mini (maxed out) and LG 5K Display. So far I am very happy with my both investments.

Tested: Will the new i7 Mac mini run faster with new thermal paste?
So far my maxed out 2018 mini runs a lot cooler even at heavy load than MacBook Pro which cranks up the fan. So I am not even thinking about doing that kind of surgery. And no 2TB SSD is no longer to be considered as massive storage. I wish there was an option to upgrade to 4 TB at least. Their SSD is impressively faster. -
The new Mac mini is a great machine, but a $499 model could serve a larger audience
So I decided to pull the trigger and ordered maxed out Mac mini. Expecting to get it next week. Can't wait!
My question is should I keep the maxed out Mini or go with iMac Pro? When adding a monitor with Mini it is almost reaching the price of iMac Pro. -
iPhone XS versus iPhone X - which phone unlocks faster with Face ID
It is pretty obvious that Face ID will faster on XS. And next year ones will even be faster than XS. But I have no complaints from my X. ;-)
