A lot of consumer products are released for the 4th quarter essentially taking advantage that stretch in the calendar when folks are going back to school, life gets a bit more routinized and people celebrate things like Thanksgiving and Christmas--leading to the busiest time of the year for consumer electronic product retailers. It only makes sense that Samsung copies Apple and scores of others in this strategy.
