AccountEdge abandons Catalina compatibility, customers looking for alternatives
The way to convert to 64 bit if you use objective c, swift, and even some other modern frameworks not created by Apple is to flick a switch in xCode.
This indicates to be they are running code written for pre OS X systems, rather than Apple abandoning their developers these guys were two lazy to write for a new OS for two decades. I doubt they have a much better codebase on windows either. -
Recycling robot 'Daisy' part of Apple's effort to end mining for resources
it looks to me like Dysamoria is complaining about the original iPhone lasting until last year, a 4S that’s still working and an iPhone 6S that got a cheap replacement battery and also works.
In that length of time most android users would have replaced their devices 5 times or more.
Of course android phones didn’t exist when the original iPhone was released so I’m actually compensating for that; from what I’m able to work out the replacement cycle is 2 years for an android device - in the US - and 4 years for the iPhone. That’s a big carbon saving as the majority of carbon costs are in the manufacture.

It if ever "closed loop" the company will be dying out because if you have enough coming in to support what you are selling then you are not selling enough product and/or people are buying another brands product. -
Steve Jobs unveiled the first iPhone 18 years ago

The 62% iPod marketshare should have easily translated to %70 iPhone marketshare.
The fact the U.S. and tech companies allowed android to create patent-infringing knockoffs just to make a quick buck for carriers who doubted iPhone is sad. Then came the commercials attacking Apple which created the rabid iKnockoff Knights who shit on everything Apple worked hard for THEM to enjoy!
I do think Apple may get its revenge, though. 'Privacy' or lack, thereof, may undo, to some extent, Google/Android!
Finger's crossed!
P.S. Lots of commas in this post, my apologies!
Some people just hate Apple.
( nobody really cares about privacy and they don't see the difference between Apple and Google when they do). -
Ricky Gervais roasts Apple as Golden Globes snub 'The Morning Show'

The "stars" make a lot but what about that long list of people who show up in the credits? I'm sure most are lucky to be paid even minimum wage, probably don't get medical benefits, and won't get paid overtime.
