  • Apple's mixed-reality headset has reached 'advanced' stage of development

These won’t be marketed to “gamers”
MR goggles will be marketed toward creatives. People who design and build video games, possibly maybe people who edit and other creative types.  Typical apple customer base.

My understanding is gamers mostly like PC over Mac.

If apple wants to sell these and make these mainstream, it needs to find a general client group that will find this device useful.

I think apples holy grail is the AR apple glass.  That anyone can wear.  And this is just a stepping stone.

Also, my issue would be heat.  It will probably be a Bluetooth enabled device that works Using your phone.

  • When the iPhone goes USB-C, other Lightning accessories will too says Kuo

I think apple should push for convert from Lightning to MagSafe. I just switched from iPhone X to iPhone 13 pro max and I have not yet used my Lightning port. I like mag safe. I even bought a MagSafe batter pack

  • iPhone 14 Pro models to feature taller screen, Apple ditching 'mini' model

I think the mini business will shift into the SE business.

When Apple releases the next version of the SE. it will be with the notch, since apple will have killed the notch by then.

  • iPhone 14 may still use A15, Pro models move to A16 says Ming-Chi Kuo

This could be a move Apple is making now that they are starting to feel The pinch from the chip
    Shortage.

They already have contracts established for the A15. We don’t know what the cost increase for the A16 is,
Apple is probably limiting the A16 to the pro models for the iPhone Pro in order to maintain a low price for the regular IPhone.

  • Apple working on multiple folding iPhone prototypes, but launch isn't soon

Folding phones as it exists today is a joke, with Samsung being a perfect example of it.  It's of zero use being first if that product is garbage.

There's a reason why Apple hasn't put one out and I believe if/when Apple does it, it will be done right.  Then the iKnockoffs like Samsung and Xiaomi will copy Apple's design and the industry will flip and say "it was the next logical step.".

I'm not expecting anything from Apple for years.

someone always has to be first. There’s first to market and then there’s rush to be first to market like Xiaomi and Samsung.  How ever without companys rushing out new technology, apple would have nothing to perfect. See, Apple comes along and picks and chooses only what holds up to there exacting standards and then looks better for it because they let other people waste there money on fades and bad product that the public won’t be attracted to.  Apple mainly only invests in products and features with a proven track record that fits within there COGS model.
