Apple begins using smaller Subaru cars to capture Apple Maps data
I wonder if this change is related to the Apple Maps van that was involved in a deadly crash earlier this year.

The Subaru Impreza hatchback has a higher crash safety rating than the Ford Transit Connect.

Apple said to be working on fixing 'aggressive' skin smoothing in iPhone XS photos
I noticed this within minutes of receiving of my Xs Max last Friday and posted a comment about it on here.
"The most impressive aspect of my Xs Max so far is the quality of selfies taken by the front-facing camera. For the first time ever, I look better in selfies than in the mirror. There's obviously some "beauty filtering" going on because I know I don't look this good in real life. I'm not sure how I feel about that just yet."

Apple's HomePod claims six percent of the smart speaker market, as Google closes gap with ...
techprod1gy said:These numbers are not all bad. This product will continue to grow momentum. The sound quality is outstanding at all volume levels. I would put it up against anything in its price range. Yes SIRI needs some work but it is still very useful.
Unfortunately, the HomePods get to where they can't hear me over themselves sometimes - even at low volumes. I have to unplug and replug them to restore proper operation. I've had this issue since release and it's existed through all software updates. -
Apple self-driving car fleet grows to 66 vehicles in California
On March 29, an Apple Maps van crashed in Kilgore, Texas. The driver died from his injuries later that day.
It's creepy how this story never made it past the local news. Interestingly, the local police department was asking the public for information about the crash. Surely, the 360° cameras, lidar, GPS, and wheel encoder collected more than enough evidence. Locals say that intersection is very dangerous.

NOTE: This was not a self-driving vehicle.
