Apple caters to that market. It doesn't sell into that market.

In fact, Apple takes care of its older flagships selling used under $400 incomparably better than this year's Android 'flagships'.

Continued and effective Security and Privacy Updates
Helpdesk support
Built to Last Rugged Lifespan
Longlasting Battery Lifespan

These qualities in Apple's ecosystem are often overlooked.

They don't exist in Android's much, sometimes even on Day 1 of a purchase.
