correct about the entry model iPod going to 15G for $299, but the mini isn't that much smaller in size, and quite a hit in storage for $249 if it has massively better battery life, maybe... otherwise doesn't do much for me. -

Is it just me or do other people think there's something fundamentally wrong with the pricing? At $249 USD for a 4GB iPod mini - for $50 bucks more you can get a 15GB iPod!!! Who would buy the mini?! It really doesn't make any sense to me. Cheers, Billy -

I totally disagree. $49 for all of this ($29 edu) is more than fair pricing for what they represent. I like this pricing decision a lot more than the $249 for the iPod mini. $49 is what, dinner for two at Red Lobster? -

If everyone would just stop being so short sighted...$249 is not a lot of money at all. If people know that iTMS and the iPod is the best music experience then they will buy into it if thats what they want to spend their money on. Homerun, Apple wins.
