does it look the same as the SoHo store? <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" /> <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />
Sorry, the title of this thread was misleading, so I prematurely posted my pics from the Apple Store @ The Grove in a new thread.
Here are a few pics from the grand opening of the second flagship Apple Store, this one at The Grove in Los Angeles. The Grand Opening was last night from 6pm to midnight. They handed out water to everyone waiting in line (at one point the line was 4 blocks long!!), and the usual Apple t-shirts!
<strong>speaking of signs... whatever happened to the Apple store with the internal lumination of food items in the mideastern apple-store that was delayed?</strong><hr></blockquote>
That one debuted quite a while ago, without the internal lights of course.
<strong>Nice store. Looks like it designed for lots of foot traffic.</strong><hr></blockquote>
I wish Apple would finally start building AppleStores here in Germany. In my hometown, no Mac dealers are present in high traffic areas. (We do not have malls, instead we have a large pedestrian area in downtown with many shops). So, when you go shopping, there's more than a handful of PC shops in easy reach, but if you want to buy something for a mac, you'll have to explicitely go (drive) there ...

Heck ya.
<strong>Question, Does Steve ever show up at a store opening??</strong><hr></blockquote>
He was at SoHo and IIRC Palo Alto, someone correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Foot traffic?? What did you think we would design it for? Motor traffic?!?!?
