That said, you need Apple's Developer Tools to do this. Open the application package and navigate to Contents/Reources/English.lproj and open BrowserWindow.nib in Interface Builder. Select the "Browser" instance and under the Attributes section of the inspector, check the box for "textured window". Save. Relaunch Chimera.
Don't know about you but i gave that a go and my Chimera looks cool and my eyes can look at it for longer now as white makes my eyes go nuts after many hours <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />
Unsanity shitty apps are crammed to the point of exploding with spyware. If you like using that, be their guest, or their host, or whatever.</strong><hr></blockquote>
I suppose Ambrosia is spyware too, huh? Evil activation code checks. I don't even think Unsanity's codes are one time use either. They don't change unless they find the code on Surfer's Serials or something.
Besides, Application Enhancer and Metallifizer have no product activation. They're free.
besides presence of spyware (which is always a bad thing, no excuses: an app should only do what it tells you, not disclose whatever it discloses about you to someone else, even if it is such unrelevant info as a serial).
have you not read of the many unsanity-fiends on these boards alone, who claim that unsanity interacts with the system on a level not normally entered by apps, with all kinds of side effects as a consequence.

Um, hello, instead of being a nutcase, why don't you use your own experiences to make a judgement instead of preconceived notions from others.
My system is running Application Enhancer, Metallifizer, Labels X, Windowshade X and ClearDock.
And Apple makes spyware too, what do you think OS X is? What about every other major app from any major software developer? Don't be ridiculous. Don't be a frothing lunatic. You're making this sound as if it's all about content liberation and stupid shit like that.
The bottom line:
Unsanity software is inexpensive, stable, easy to use, and doesn't spy on your computer for anything other than your non-changing registration code.
Apparently unsanity isn't as bad as I thought after reading some remarks on their behalf.
I'm probably a bit annoyed that the one thing from unsanity that I covet, windowshade, is something which I (and I not only, though I speak only for myself here) feel should be part of OS X, as I used it like crazy in OS 9. Having to pay for something which I took for granted, it disagrees with me. I can, however, see that these people make software that pleases many, and they should get paid.
For the record, I do not own, nor use, any unsanity software.

<strong>Or just use Unsanity's Metallifizer. Much easier.</strong><hr></blockquote>except that that affects ALL apps...

As of today, not anymore.
<a href="http://www.unsanity.com/haxies/metallifizer/" target="_blank">Metallifizer 1.1</a> allows enabling/disabling of textured apps on a per-application basis.
Requires APE 1.2.
Oh, double Feh. I love their work, and my machine has been solid with their products all over it for a year.

Ok... I feel like a complete retard, but I don't see this. Someone please explain where the attributes section is (for us slow people)...

That would be a joke from a person who probably frequents Ars Technica.
