Is this a PowerBOOK? I guess it is. If so, if it's new and/or you have warranty for a decent stretch of time to come (say, 6 months at least), AND if you live in the US, I guess it's not bad. If you live in Europe, this is an incredible deal.
Chipping paint, I hear the 667s had a bit of trouble with paint going bad. Look especially at the corners. I think this is only an aesthetic issue, but it might help to get some discount yet.
And, deals like this are possible, especially with people who don't really follow the second (or even first) hand market, and don't really want to get in it too deep.
Just have a peek in system profiler to see if everything is as is reported to be.
Of course, if you have warranty (and you should, these PwBs were released less than a year ago, no? may 2002 methinks), you're a little more certain. You could even shell out some cash for extended apple warranty if you're still under regular warranty.

Could be a bargain. Could be a rip-off. It depends on what currency you're talking here.
Actually VERY cheap. Suspeciously cheap <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />
Be very sure that this thing isn´t a lemon and then grab and run. If you don´t buy I know many who would.
Look what people want for their Powerbooks here in DK (remember the danish krone is a tad cheaper than the norwegian)
