Smoking causing allergies to cats?
At school, one guy said that everyone he knows that smokes, has allergies to cats, and that's only because they smoke. I guess that what the guy said, was just an excuse, a lame reason, to tell everyone, that smoking is bad for you(everyone knows it is). He is sorta an anti-drug person, and that i don't mind, but it gets annoying at times. I thought that this might be an interesting topic to talk about, but if it's lame or stupid, just tell me.

Oh, and smoking has no relation to cat allergies... however I have heard that if you tuch your nose while you tuch something furry you will become allergic to mice.

It's stupid. Lame! Stupid Lame! Stupid! (Thread unravels into fisticuffs)
Seriously, while I wouldn't be surprised at something like that allergy theory, it'd be best if there was a shred of supporting evidence one way or another before espousing it as a belief (as your friend did).
Anecdotal experience on my part would tend to disagree with that. I've know a lot of roommates that had cats and smoked (before I started banning smoking from the house ).
But a few casual observations doesn't a scientific theory make.
