Mac OS 9 and Airport problem
I was hoping that someone could help me with a problem I am having. On my Powerbook I have partitioned the harddrive in two and on these two partitions I have installed Mac OS X and Mac OS 9 respectively.
The Powerbook is connected to the internet using an internal Apple Airport card and an Apple Airport basestation. With X, all is well. With 9, however, all is not.
Whenever I try to log on to the network running Mac OS 9 I get an error message saying that I am using the wrong password. But I am not. In X, the same password works perfectly.
Is anyone out there familliar with the problem and know of a solution?
Thank you in advance.

If memory serves, try adding a "$" before your password. I think this tells Airport what kind of password it is supposed to use.
Thanks for your reply, Ebby, but your suggestion doesn't seem to work. I tried logging on by typing $<password> in Mac OS 9, without success.
