"Airtunes" wireless speakers coming??
1. download the new iTunes
2. look under preferences:advanced:general
3. Notice how it says: "allow iTunes control from remote speakers"
To me this reads: a wireless speakerset is on it's way!
I was highly tempted by the iPod hifi, but didn't buy it in the end cause I want true stereo sound with separate speakers. Glad I waited, now just hoping this won't take too long....

The hifi can be jacked into airtunes if that's any consolation to you.
Nah, don't really care for the wireless part. I just want 'true' stereo sound with good looks.
Well if it doesn't need to be an apple product I'm sure you can find something from another company and hook the airtunes up to that. Unfortunately there's no all in one solution to what you want.
?? Go read my original post again!
The iTunes preferences specifically state that you can enable itunes to be controlled from remote speakers!!
You cannot do this with the current airport, can you?

Actually, a third party makes a USB device you plug in to the AirPort Express that controls iTunes wirelessly back over the network. I think its made by Keyspan (and not the Bluetooth remote) but I could be wrong.
