Is the Apple One subscription bundle worth it in Fall 2023?
You don’t mention when the increased prices take effect nor if current subscribers are grandfathered in, or in fact when current subscribers prices rise, if they do. Any chance to update the article with those facts?
I currently pay $9.99/month for Apple News, $6.99/month for Apple TV+, and $9.99/month for 2TB iCloud storage. I’ve never thought it was worth paying $5.98 more for Apple Fitness or Apple Music, neither of which I use (my current $26.97 would go up to $32.95), however my subscriptions currently say I’ll be billed $6.99/month again on Nov 1 for Apple TV+ for instance, so if I’d get grandfathered in on Premium, for at least a year, I’d probably now upgrade to Premium for $32.95 ~= $9.99 + $9.99 + $12.99 = $32.97… ! -
Apple's exceptional WWDC 2020 keynote should be a model for future shows

Facebook is fine when punishing others financially, but cries when others do it to them
chadbag said:I, for one, am glad of FB new obsession with VR. They're going to waste a huge amount of money creating a sysyem that most people won't have an interest in most of the time. People are [not] waiting for a "metaverse.". We're [not] all 30 year olds living in our parent's basement. There are great vertical applications (meaning specific industry solutions for specific problems) for which VR is ideal and useful. But those are specific solutions for specific segments. They are not the "cash cow" of general consumer data slurping they have now.
All of that said, I’m not convinced that Meta will succeed in being successful there, in fact it may actually be Apple that will be successful in the metaverse. But don’t kid yourself that the new & upcoming kids some not yet born won’t be (much) more virtual than us oldies typing things on keyboards!

Apple hikes Apple One cost by up to $5 as most services prices rise
William, any idea when current subscribers will see these increases? In Settings under subscriptions none of Apple TV+, nor Apple News, renewing in beginning and mid November show these new higher prices (yet)…
Are we grandfathered in? And if so, for how long?
Would Premium also get grandfathered in, and for how long? I might upgrade to Premium if we get grandfathered in, certainly if indefinitely!
