I hate these garbage advertising stunts mobile phone companies do, flushing endless millions down the sewer. Maybe if they actually tried making products that didn't stop evolving in the 90's they would do better.

There's a lot of debate on SSN/ EIN/ ITIN on Apple forums and lots of confusion. Now, in the long run I have some crazy ideas but for now... Go to the IRS website. Download form SS-4 to fax to the IRS. Read the form. See the back where it says "I…

The bizarre thing is that Apple and Telstra have not gone to advertise DC-HSPA+ as "4G". It would annoy some but that was a possible avenue, and DC-HSPA+ would have headed off a lot of this stuff. Apple still doesn't say anything about DC-HSPA+, may…

Very strangely, note that Telstra DC HSPA+ is NOT called 4G, even though they easily could have done so (as we've been debating). It's a stealth upgrade, maybe because they are focusing promised fast speeds for 4G LTE, and DC HSPA+ was more of a sil…

After farting around for hours this morning on the forums, I think I'll finally get to proper work on an iBook. Will share the research in a dedicated thread in the iPad section of the forum if anyone's interested.

I'll share my perspective on this because I have been passionate about this for several years, and personally I had to bail from Malaysia and return for one final hurrah to Australia. Malaysia is considered a developing country, somewhere in the…
