Well, I'm a huge George A. Romero fan. He invented the genre with Night of the Living Dead, but all of his "Dead" films (a series, actually, starting with "Night", followed by the original 1977 "Dawn of the Dead", the abysmal "Day of the Dead", and …

Alright, now, I just smoked some chronic, and I got a lot to say. Quote: Originally posted by D.J. Adequate Without a major price move, I don't think Apple survives until the transition. Speed bumps do not equal great new product, and I don't …

If you read your warranty more carefully, you'll find that Apple (and EVERY OTHER MANUFACTURER UNDER THE SUN) has a clause concerning dead pixels, in an addendum. I got one with my iBook G4, so did you. Fuck, I'll even dig mine out. Hold on... I …

They probably expect (and I would assume quite correctly) that they will be selling quite a few more iMac G5's than 20" displays, so margins don't need to be so high. Plus, the fact that they are lower-quality displays could lower their costs a fair…

I like its hardware pretty well. The main problems are a lack of base RAM and the lukewarm GPU, but I'm sure those will be taken care of within six to eight months or so (remember how soon minor revisions came to the original iMac and iBook). The in…

Really good point there. And remember, a huge portion of the PC's being sold in the iMac's segment have either a low-end video card like this (that you can replace, but honestly, few ever do), or integrated video. And this is a huge step above that.
