Apple says popular demand brought back the HomePod
Sounds untrue! After the 14.6 update they started giving popping sounds and dying! Mine even has a burnt smell to it. No replacement program or fix from Apple.

2023 HomePod review roundup: similar sound, same price
Lets hope this version doesn’t start giving popping sounds and burning smells after two years and gets discontinued again.

Mine started having a burning smell and the Genius Bar told me to stop using it but wouldn’t replace it!irnchriz said:Hope it’s better built than the first. I really should have sold them on but didn’t want the hassle when they failed for someone else. Guess that’s how Apple felt about the 1st gen too, LOL
