Apple cracks down on apps identifying users through device fingerprinting

Developers suffering through 'Kafkaesque' App Store Review process
The contracts alone can be called Kafkaesque. I remember getting an email "contracts have to be updated". The link in the email went to the wrong website. I updated the contracts. Weeks later I get an email again "contracts have to be updated". I didn't know if this was about the same contract version or a new version. And - of course - the link was wrong again.
And yes, the rest of the review process is worse. Spurious rejection reasons. Some versions go through. Others are rejected just for fun. I had to call Apple twice because their upload process is so odd. When using the upload app it takes about half an hour before the app is available in AppStoreConnect.
Every user has other horror stories about getting rejected for nothing.
