  • FTC asks court to deny Qualcomm request for stay in antitrust ruling

Fire up the popcorn ! p.s. I especially like the part "... the chipmaker has failed to show it will likely win on appeal".

  • Apple releases AirPort Base Station update with security fixes

Kudos to Apple for supporting discontinued hardware. I'll keep using them for as long as they are functional.
Amen to that. I bought an extra to have as a spare (still in the shrinkwrap). And an extra Express too since that's what I use for music throughout the house.

Hopefully the appeal judges will make Qualcomm pay up while they consider the case.
Qualcomm already paid. This case was them trying to get some of it back.

I also use an Apple Watch.  When I use DND on my iPhone it automatically sets it for the watch as well.  However, during the night my watch face randomly lights up for about 5 seconds or so for no reason at all.  Anyone know how to make this stop?  I'm having to cover the watch face with a dark cloth just so I don't have to see it flash in the middle of the night.  I thought setting DND would make this stop.
Swipe up from the bottom of the watch face and scroll to the theater (mask) faces. Hit that and then cover the watch a few seconds and the screen will go dark until you touch it again.
Note that this will silence the alarm also. I use that to wake up in the morning - silencing it would be Bad. So my go-to-bed sequence is as follows:- (1)set DND (blue icon) until the morning, (2)turn on theatre-mode (orange icon), (3)turn OFF silent (red bell icon).

One more item of note; the flash in the middle of the night might be from movement or a touch. But I have also noticed a few seconds of light from the BACK of the watch (Watch 3). I have no idea what that's about.

One thing to note about DND While Driving - if your iPhone is paired with your car you'll still get calls that you can respond to hands-free. And if you have CarPlay then Siri will read texts to you and let you dictate a reply.
