US shoppers increasingly buying iPhones from carriers instead of Apple
Um...there is no way this is true. At all.
Apple has only increased the incentive to order/purchase directly from them over the years. There was a time that ordering from your carrier was the only way to get it and make sure something didn't get screwed up in the activation process. There was also recent times, where if you wanted to use NEXT or JUMP, you had to go through your carrier. All that has changed.
Between Apple's own upgrade plan and financing offers, as well as their much more stable online ordering platform for launches....there is absolutely no way more people are buying through carriers today than yesterday. -
Apple says Mississippi 'religious freedom' bill 'empowers discrimination'
Hmmm. "Religious beliefs" just sounds like an excuse to be discriminate against gays because they don't like it.
I have my own personal beliefs too.
I believe that all religion exist for no other purpose than to enslave humanity (well thats not really a belief, historically religion was invented by kings to control populations). -
Code reaffirms Apple's plan to allow users to hide default iOS apps
I don't know what that means. All I've ever heard as reasons to remove stock Apps is:
1) Free up space
2) Because I own the device and should be able to.
And to both points I say, GTFO. The stock Apps take up negligible space, and no you don't own the OS or any of the software on the device. You may think you own the metal and glass brick around it, and if your device is paid off maybe you do, but that is it. You are not entitled to a goddamn thing.
