Propaganda works, many people will believe his lies and be happy to forgo any personal privacy whatsoever, because, it's good for society or whatever bullshit sociopaths like Fuckerberg promise you over and over and over again, in multiple ways, multiple channels, using multiple tactics over and over and over again to get you to believe the lies they are telling you.
Propaganda is the advertising industry (aka "public relations"), as per Edward Bernays himself and his book from more than 100 years ago, it's an enlightening (and short) read, highly recommend it. -
