Heh. Try Fark for a couple of weeks. Better yet Digg.
I left here two years ago for being a jerk, but after returning here I've noticed:
- How glacial the response time has become. Used to be pretty quick.
- The lack of new postings (excluding Future & New Hardware of course)
- There doesn't seem to be as much "hooliganism" as before (seems to be more spam though).
I have learned my lessons from here before and from other forums. Stay away from subjects you don't know enough about, respond to the ones you do and contribute more to posters in need of help.
Also, is it just me but have the latest "new wave" of posters and responders on many forums on the web seem to be the most stupid, rude and just plain ignorant of guidelines these days? I must be getting old.
Reddit has been a good experience. But dammit if they're not down again for a second time...
