What is wrong with you? Are you having a bad hair day? Do you need to get your post count up? Are you unable to afford a new Macintosh?
Windows 7 is something that will outsell Mac OS X by a factor of 100:1 or more. It will be used by millions of people worldwide as opposed to the miniscule population of Macintosh users (who might end up using it via Bootcamp). It is here, in your face and there is nothing you can do about it. Get used to the smell of Windows 7.
Technically though, the answer to your question is "No". Given the level of technical understanding you have shown in your responses, I would recommend you just take Microsoft's word for it when they claim Windows 7 is something new.
Obviously you haven't learned anything in highschool. Does Window 7 still use registry? DLLs? Then it doesn't matter how many flavors and bows they put at the top.

Why should I bother explaining what Windows 7 is when it's extremely obvious the poll is biased and the thread creator is already not going to listen to any sense of logic or reasoning. All they want to hear is that Windows 7 sucks, Microsoft is the devil, etc.
For most people, a computer is just a tool they type emails and browse the web on, they don't give a second's thought to what operating system it is running.

Furthermore they think that Windows must be better since most people use it.

QED.
OMG really? There has been ONE trojan for mac? I don't feel left out now.
I'm not sure why I'm arguing with you, but you said "I can't install a Trojan if I tried", with reference to Mac OS. You are wrong.
On top of that, the iWork Trojan was presented as an example, it's not the only one out there.
With your attitude you are extremely like to fall foul of Trojans; frankly you deserve it.
