iMovie 8.0.4 fixes editing iPhone 3GS videos
Apple on Thursday night released iMovie 8.0.4 (35.6MB), a small but significant update to its video editing app.
The patch notably remedies a problem rotating videos taken by an iPhone 3GS. It also fixes unresponsiveness triggered by using fine-tuning on sections of a movie clip that haven't been image stabilized, and addresses frequent crashing when adding more than one beat marker when certain languages are active in Mac OS X.
General reliability has also been improved in the update, which needs Mac OS X 10.5.6 or later to install.
