Apple this week released two new updates for its Remote Desktop software. Version 3.3.1 is available for the client application (4.1MB), while version 3.3 is for the administrator version (51MB).

Both updates are said to address "several issues related to overall reliability," according to Apple. They require Mac OS X 10.4.11 or Mac OS X 10.5.7 and later.

The list of improvements include support for accessing computers and task servers behind NAT routers, task server and directory server scanners, the addition of a "reporting" tab in the client info window, and an "administrators" tab that displays and controls associations, among many others.
