All the best Mr Guru. I trust that all is going well and that ye have some happy news very soon.
I hae been in a similar situation twice (a wee boy in '94 and a wee girl 18 months later); and in the delivery room at that. It was a terrifying experience at first, wi' sweating, palpitations and groaning but thanks tae the groovy nurses I came through it unscathed in the end. My wife was there too o' course, doing her bit.
Baby Mac Guru (Laurin Paige Meister) was born on January 30th at 8:29pm Central Time.
She weighs 7 lbs. 13 oz. and is 20 in. long.
We began the inducing Tuesday night at 6pm and were 10cm dialated by Wed night. It only took my wife 45 min of pushing before the baby was out. She is a beutiful baby girl.
She's one hell of a tough baby as well, she had her shot's and blood drawn tonight and not one tear shed from a needle. (She got that from me... I love needles)
Anyway, I will have pictures up on my website and I'll post my favorite ones here tomorrow or Friday, just depends on when I can get them from grandma (She's the owner of the Digital Camera)
Thanks for all the kind wishes... she's blessed from day one (and even more so since she'll be raised on a Mac )

I love that guy

Good luck, MacGuru's wife. (What does HE need luck for, she's the one giving birth!)

Good luck with the delivery, and a safe and healthy wife and baby.
I hope you don't have the 6 day marathon induction we went through to have our daughter. Sheesh, that was one hell of a week...
Best of luck, and of course, bless us with some great photos when you get the chance. (time on the Mac will be much harder to come by now, trust me)
